Have you ever taken a drive out into the country and wondered about those brightly colored circles painted onto the sides of barns? Come hear about the history of Pennsylvania German hex signs, learn the meaning of their designs, and make your own hex sign to bring good luck to your home!

Earlybird Walk - Summer Residents

Birds that breed locally should be in their finest colors and singing abundantly now. We will focus on identifying birds by both sight and song. Walk will be approximately 2 miles in distance over relatively level ground. Bring binoculars and meet outside park office. (2144 Snyder Rd, Green Lane, PA 18054).

Porch Performance: Meet Harriet Tubman

Harriet Tubman was the most famous conductor of the Underground Railroad. She helped thousands of enslaved people to freedom. Bring a chair to sit on outdoors. Mansion Tours must be scheduled in advance. All ages; FREE.
