[ARCHIVED] Harriton Honor Students Make Thanksgiving Brighter

NHS Students

The National Honor Society students of Harriton High School in Lower Merion, PA held a Thanksgiving food drive for children and families known to the Office of Children & Youth. The students coordinated donations from all of the Harriton High School organized committees and collected non-perishable food items, turkey roasting pans and grocery store gift cards for needy families known to the Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth! The students outdid themselves and donated grocery store gift certificates and food items to support 100 families in need!!! What a spectacular effort! Special thanks to Jake Barbarian, Harriton National Honor Society President, who coordinated this amazing effort with the other Honor Society students and school committees! And thanks to all the Children & Youth staff who will deliver these much needed items in time to make the Holidays a little brighter! You are truly making a difference for children and families in our community! See photos attached.
