Join MCPC on Friday, September 15, for PARK(ing) Day! We'll be on Swede Street in front of the courthouse from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Also participating are the county health department, the municipality of Norristown, and Capt'n Chucky's Crab Cake Co. food truck. We'll be transforming metered parking spots into inviting public spaces with lots of information, free giveaways, and fun activities. PARK(ing) Day, a popular global event that began in 2005, challenges people to rethink the way streets are used and reinforces the need for broad-based changes to urban infrastructure.
