This popular three-session course will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in Freedom Hall of the Upper Merion Township building, 175 West Valley Forge Road, King of Prussia. The course, which combines presentations and group exercises that explore the Pennsylvania Municipalities Planning Code (MPC), the function of a planning commission, comprehensive plans, zoning, subdivision and land development, capital budgeting, and official maps, is a must for all new planning commission members. The course is limited to 25 persons and preregistration is required. The registration fee is $110. (Municipalities with a current Community Planning Assistance Contract with MCPC are eligible for a discounted rate of $90.) Professional credits are offered through PMPEI.
