The National Honor Society of Harriton High School in Lower Merion, PA held a Thanksgiving food drive for children and families known to the Office of Children & Youth. The students put collection bins in all the homerooms throughout the school and held contests, fund raisers and promotional activities to increase awareness and donations. The students outdid themselves and donated 170 food baskets and 88 grocery store gift certificates for families in need!!! What a spectacular effort! Special thanks to Ms. Ranson and Mrs. Cooke, teacher sponsors to the National Honor Society students and special thanks to Jessica Herrman, student president of the National Honor Society and all the students who worked so hard to provide such a generous donation to our families in need!
