Congratulations to Dana Loper and Taneshia Darden were awarded the 2015 Tom Ward Scholarship by SuperKIDS of Montgomery County, Inc! Each young woman received a $1,000.00 scholarship to advance their educational careers. Ms. Loper is enrolled in the nursing certificate program at Montgomery County Community College and Ms. Darden is enrolled in the criminology program at Bucks County Community College. Both women are former foster children and high school graduates who are being recognized for their commitment to achieving their post-secondary educational goals to improve their own lives and the lives of their children. Both young women receive support from Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth professional casework staff who were on hand today to honor and recognize this achievement.
SuperKIDS of Montgomery County, Inc. is a 501c3 non-profit charity that supports educational and cultural enrichment goals of children known to the Montgomery County Office of Children & Youth. SuperKIDS annually assists approximately 500 children needing assistance to reach their educational goals.
